Fujian Ocean Innovation Center (Fujian-OI) has officially joined Ocean Visions, a premier global network as well as a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering multisector collaborations - uniting scientists, innovators, and policymakers - to develop and scale solutions for ocean health and climate disruption. Ocean Visions' dedication highly aligned with Fujian-OI's strategic goals. In particular, both parties are committed to tackling global ocean environmental challenges through scientific innovation in cutting-edge fields such as marine carbon dioxide removal (mCDR) and sustainable blue economy.

Featured in the latest Ocean Visions Newsletter, Fujian-OI stands alongside world-renowned peers, including Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI), etc.

This recognition marks a significant milestone in Fujian-OI's pursuit of international excellence, reflecting its rising influence and visibility within the global ocean innovation community. Through this partnership, Fujian-OI will deepen its engagement with leading scientists, policymakers, and blue finance stakeholders, while advancing co-design, collaborative research, and talent exchange on a broader international platform.
